
Asian Chicken Meatballs
These superquick, juicy little Asian-inspired meatballs are great wrapped in lettuce cups or served with steamed rice.
Ingredients
For the meatballs
- 500 grams ground chicken
- 1 cup fine breadcrumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- sunflower oil for frying
For the sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp water
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients (minus the oil) to the ground chicken, mix and mix well.
- Make small meatballs and then fry in abundant oil at medium-high temperature, when golden, remove them and reserve on absorbent paper.
- Remove the oil from the pan and add the sauce ingredients (minus the seeds). Put to heat mixing them and when it begins to boil add the meatballs and turn them until they are very bright and the sauce thickens.
- Serve the meatballs in their sauce and sprinkle with the touch of sesame seeds.
Notes
You can accompany them with a good Verdejo white wine. !!!
